When a neighbor reported that a little girl was being severely beaten over failing grades, the Community Justice Team in Liberia stepped in.

Instead of just punishing the mother, they brought both sides together. The mother admitted to her actions, agreed to stop the physical abuse, and ...was connected with counseling to manage her frustration.

Today, that home is peaceful, and the family is healing. This is what community justice is all about: protecting children and helping families rebuild.
