W. Lawrence Yealue, II
Country Director
In 2001, amidst the Liberian civil war, Lawrence relocated to Ghana, where he pursued comprehensive studies in Community Health Nursing, Education, Human Resources, Finance, and Public Policy, ultimately developing into an Emerging Career Diplomat. His early advocacy focused on youth development, inclusion, peace, and integrity within the Buduburam Refugee Camp.
He expanded his humanitarian and peace-building work by volunteering for numerous organizations across Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, and Nigeria. From 2003 to 2005, he served as a Peace Ambassador in Ghana for Apeadu Peace before returning to Liberia in 2013.
Since his return, Mr. Yealue has established himself as a professional business development expert and coach with over ten years of experience. As the Assistant Director of the University of Liberia’s Business Start-Up Center in Monrovia, he actively supports emerging entrepreneurs. He was a crucial member of the team that organized the first Micro, Medium, and Small Enterprises (MSME) Conference in Liberia in 2013, and he established the nation’s first Angel Investment fund in the same year. His commitment to governance was recognized when he won Transparency International’s first Social Entrepreneurs Initiative for West Africa in 2014.
A passionate advocate for social change, Mr. Yealue was drawn to the Accountability Lab, where his responsibilities include program management, supporting “accountapreneurs,” training, outreach, and network building. In 2015, he was selected as an Atlas Corps Fellow at the Accountability Lab’s Washington, D.C. headquarters and a Rhize Catalyst Fellow. He is a critical thinker with an action-based orientation, evidenced by his organization of the first-ever Liberian Youth Peace Building National Conference (2017) and the first all-Women Film Festival in Liberia (2019).
Mr. Yealue is a trained Career Diplomat from the Foreign Service Institute (2019) and a Public Policy Implementation Specialist, having completed studies at Harvard University (2020). He is a recognized Youth Development Expert across the sub-region, a leading Pro-accountability and Anti-corruption Expert, and a dedicated pro-democracy leader. His leadership extends to serving as a member of the National Media Council of Liberia and as the chairperson-elect of the National Civil Society Council of Liberia.

Nyema J. Richards
Programs and Learning Director
Nyema J. Richards is a seasoned development professional with over two decades of experience advancing youth livelihoods, entrepreneurship, and the rights of women, children, and persons living with disabilities. He has built a distinguished career across civil society and community-based platforms, leading transformative initiatives that empower marginalized populations and promote inclusive economic growth.
Throughout his career, he has co-designed, managed, and implemented high-impact programs focused on skills development, enterprise promotion, and rights-based advocacy. His work is grounded in a strategic, participatory approach that strengthens community ownership while delivering measurable and sustainable outcomes. He is widely recognized for his ability to include policy influence, institutional capacity building, and social innovation with grassroots implementation, ensuring that development interventions remain both responsive and impactful.
A detail-oriented and results-driven professional, Nyema leverages data and evidence to inform strategy, strengthen accountability, and advance equitable development outcomes. He brings strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to his work, underpinned by a deep commitment to ethical standards, transparency, and continuous professional growth.
Nyema’s professional journey began in education and banking, experiences that sharpened his analytical rigor, strengthened his financial acumen, and deepened his understanding of the systemic barriers affecting vulnerable communities. These foundational experiences continue to inform his holistic approach to development, blending technical expertise with empathy, practical insight, and strategic foresight.

Parnneh T. Mallobe
Communicaions Officer
Parnneh T. Mallobe is an assertive, communications, results-driven professional with over 10 years of experience spanning youth development, community development, journalism, and development communication.
In her five years in mainstream media, she specialized in reporting on critical issues, including gender, youth, the extractive industry, and stories of war crimes survivors, alongside coverage of judicial proceedings and corruption cases.
Currently, Parnneh serves as the Communications Officer at Accountability Lab Liberia, an anti-corruption civil society organization. In this role, she leverages strategic anti-corruption advocacy and community-driven initiatives to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability, ensuring equitable resource sharing for the benefit of citizens. She is also currently a Fellow of the Governance and Anti-Corruption Fellowship, an initiative of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission and NAYMOTE-Liberia. Her broader experience in social development includes over four years dedicated to governance, anti-corruption, advocacy, and community engagement, with a focus on human rights.
A recognized leader, Parnneh is a member of the Integrity Youth Advisory Board for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) under its Global Resource for Anti-Corruption, Education, and Youth Empowerment (GRACE).
Her commitment to positive societal change is evident in her work, which includes a 2023 presentation to States Parties at the Conference of the States Parties on the role of youth in the fight against corruption in Africa, where she presented the results of a consultation with over 500 young Africans. She also served as a competent and inclusive co-facilitator during a regional dialogue on strengthening non-state actor participation (CSOs, academia, and youth) in anti-corruption efforts, helping to shape youth recommendations that were later submitted by the USA as a conference room paper. Her latest engagement was in early December 2024.

Alphan T. Kabba
Procurement and MEL Officer
Alphan T. Kabba is an accomplished Program and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Coordinator with over a decade of progressive experience managing multi-donor, grant-funded programs at national and international levels. His work is strongly focused on gender equality, women’s rights, youth development, disability inclusion, climate change adaptation, and community development.
He currently serves as the Program/MEL Coordinator at Accountability Lab Liberia, where he is instrumental in supporting the design, implementation, monitoring, and learning of accountability, governance, and social impact initiatives. Previously, Mr. Kabba provided strategic leadership as Projects Manager at United Funding and Development for Underage Mothers, overseeing UN Women–supported Spotlight Initiative and UN Trust Fund projects to end sexual and gender-based violence against women and girls in Liberia. His professional background also includes senior roles with Plan International Liberia and the International Rescue Committee, where he led programs focused on climate change adaptation, emergency response, child protection, partner capacity strengthening, inclusion, and GBV prevention.
A results-oriented professional, Alphan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Management. He is also formally trained in project management, administration, security management, and information systems. He brings strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills to drive accountable development programming. He is proficient in planning, budget management, capacity building for partners and co-workers, and possesses strong technical skills in data and system management, including MS Excel, Word, Access Database, PowerPoint, and System Application and Products (SAP).

Famatta Janga David
Programs Officer
Famatta J. David is a dedicated social development professional serving as a Programs Officer at Accountability Lab Liberia. She plays a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and management of key initiatives, with a primary focus on leading engagement, overseeing work plan development for assigned projects, and annually spearheading Integrity Icon Liberia. This flagship program identifies and celebrates honest public servants, having honored 45 role models to date, and provides practical direction for young people on the possibility of integrity in public service.
In her role, Famatta also contributes to social impact and governance programming, working closely with communities to enhance access to justice. She was instrumental in the Community Justice Team project, which established a local justice system to sustainably resolve civil disputes in 12 communities in Logan Town. Her responsibilities also include participating in the drafting of annual work plans, budgets, procurement, and monitoring plans for her assigned projects.
She brings a wealth of practical experience from her earlier career, including a volunteer period with the National Youth Service Program (NYSP) at the Ministry of Youth & Sports (2014–2016). During this time, she conducted community awareness-raising on Ebola virus transmission prevention in Bomi County and participated in a conflict assessment data-collection effort with International Alert in Grand Cape Mount and Bomi Counties. Additionally, her experience includes a two-month Barrier Analysis (BA) study in 2015 for the USAID Food and Enterprise Development (FED) Program for Liberia.
Famatta holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis in Anthropology from the University of Liberia (2011). She has also successfully completed professional training in key areas, including Procurement Management from the Liberia Institute of Public Administration (2017) and Project Management from African Methodist Episcopal University (2023).

Allanko Wennie
Finance Director
Allanko Wennie is a finance and operations professional with extensive experience supporting financial management, administration, and organizational systems across both the private sector and international non-governmental organizations. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Liberia.
Prior to joining Accountability Lab Liberia, Allanko worked with international shipping lines as a Project Manager and Invoicing and Documentation Manager, where he developed strong expertise in budgeting, financial controls, compliance, and reporting. He later transitioned into the development sector, strengthening his experience in donor grant management, financial oversight of paid services, and operational administration.
Since joining Accountability Lab Liberia in 2016 through the iCampus LAVI USAID project, Allanko has played a key role in overseeing financial and operational systems, ensuring organizational compliance, and supporting the effective delivery of programs. His work is guided by a commitment to professionalism, accountability, and strong institutional stewardship.

Yassah Baysah
Finance Officer
Yassah Baysah is a finance professional with experience supporting financial management and administrative systems across international non-governmental organizations working in relief and development programming. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management, with a minor in Accounting, from African Methodist Episcopal University in Liberia.
In her role as Finance Manager at Accountability Lab Liberia, Yassah contributes to strengthening financial processes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, and supporting the effective implementation of programs through sound financial oversight. Her professional background includes working with diverse development initiatives, where she developed practical expertise in budgeting, reporting, and financial coordination.
Yassah is committed to advancing accountable, responsible systems that support sustainable development outcomes. Her work is informed by her lived experiences within Liberia’s public education system and her dedication to supporting initiatives that promote integrity and community resilience.
